Bonnyrigg Rose can today announce the departure of Nathan Evans. An agreement has been reached between the club and Lowland League newcomers Tranent Juniors for the forward.
Nathan joined Rose last summer from East Lothian outfit Musselburgh Athletic and scored 12 goals in all competitions for the club – the first of which came on his home debut against Edinburgh University.
A special hat-trick against Tynecastle, a crucial opener versus a resilient Vale of Leithen and a deserved goal at Shielfield Park when Rose secured the Lowland League title were just some of the forward's best moments in Bonnyrigg colours, with the 25-year-old also departing the club with a Lowland League winner's medal.
Nathan’s efforts will forever be associated with the club’s historic season and we wish him all the best at The Big T.
