Work is now well underway at New Dundas Park as we continue with the levelling project on the playing surface, part of the club’s ongoing efforts to upgrade facilities and meet SPFL licensing requirements.
Contractors began work on-site in May, with the initial stage focused on stripping back the existing turf and levelling out the previously sloped pitch. Existing drainage has been upgraded to help support the new surface. The land behind the dugouts belongs to the club and has been cleared, removing overgrown shrubbery and trees. Seeding our new surface will begin in the next week.
What’s Happening On Site:
✅ Existing surface removed
✅ Earthworks complete to correct pitch gradient to silver standard
✅Existing Drainage upgraded
✅ Land behind dugout side of ground cleared
NEXT- Surface grass seeding
Club officials are working closely with contractors to ensure the project stays on schedule, with the aim of completing all works by October 2025 at the latest.
As a reminder our home games will be played at Ferguson Park in Rosewell whilst the work is completed.
Thanks once again to our generous supporters and sponsors, without your support this work would not be possible.
