“The Rose” after two wins and two defeats so far are still on the cusp of proceeding to the final 32 where the Championship clubs enter the competition.

Last time out with three games in a six-day period Manager Jonny Stewart made several changes to the starting eleven against League One Airdrieonians.

Under the NDP lights the away side took the lead after 20minutes but a few minutes later a Lee Currie free-kick special from 25 yards levelled it up.

Three quick fire goals for Airdrieonians finished the match as a contest before half time.

Two further goals in the second half made it a tough night for the young Bonnyrigg Rose side against a side that was in the Championship last season.

Motherwell B under Head Coach Jim Paterson have had a disappointing time so far in this competition but will provide a tough test for Bonnyrigg Rose.

With all their fixtures being away from home they have suffered defeats at Kelty Hearts/Alloa Athletic/Annan Athletic and East Fife.
