Midweek League action returns on Wednesday where we are back on the road again to face Gala Fairydean Rovers.
With both teams on a challenging run of form at present this fixture will provide an opportunity to start to build momentum again as we move into this important period of the season.
Both sides come into this contest after disappointing away defeats last time out.
GFR travelled to Musselburgh where they were on the wrong side of a 2-0 defeat with goals in either half provided the home side with all 3 points in a match where Gala were reduced to ten men just after half time when Daniel Martins received a red card for an off the ball incident.
“The Rose” made the short trip to Christie Gillies Park to play Civil Service Strollers.
Manager Jonny Stewart made three changes from the previous starting line-up which included a start for new signing Scott Robinson.
Two second half goals for Civil Service Strollers made it another disappointing afternoon for the Bonnyrigg Rose faithful who will be hoping that the current lengthy injury list starts to clear up very shortly.
These sides who have met on numerous occasions over the past couple of seasons will meet again at the same venue in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup 3rd round in a few weeks’ time.
