In a stuffy contest a Kerr Young header gave Bonnyrigg Rose an early lead and despite having several opportunities had to wait to just before half time when Rudi Bryce doubled the advantage.

The second half did not produce the excitement of the first half with the most notable event was the sending off of defender Struan Mair on the hour mark finishing the match as a contest.

Haws travelled to Gala Fairydean Rovers where in an entertaining contest came away with a 3-4 victory after scoring four goals inside the first hour to leave Netherdale with the three points to move up to an impressive 6th place in the Division.

With impressive home wins in the KDM Evolution Trophy over Annan Athletic and Rangers B and the last home League victory over East Stirlingshire “The Rose” will be aiming to maintain the winning run at New Dundas Park.

We are all looking forward to playing at NDP again on Saturday in what will be a very difficult league match.

Since the Brechin game, the boys have been brilliant and reacted exactly how I wanted them to.

Despite having so many injuries, the squad have gone on a decent wee run and will need to be at our best on Saturday to continue that.

Hill of Beath are in good form themselves and will come into the match confident.

They deservedly won their league last season and have strengthened the group.

They will pose a completely different threat to Rangers B on Tuesday and something we will need to deal with.

There are no easy games in this league and will prepare properly.

We will see how the injured boys are come Saturday and if any of them will come back into the fold.

Hopefully we get another good crowd to help the boys over the line.
