Broxburn Athletic F.C. v Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic F.C.
Lowland League 2025-26
11/04/2026 3:00pm Albyn Park
We are down to the two final Lowland League fixtures with all still to play for with only 2 points separating the top three teams and with some intriguing matches to come.
Bonnyrigg Rose travel to meet Broxburn Athletic at Albyn Park with Linlithgow Rose entertaining Clydebank in what could be a tense afternoon for all involved.
“The Rose” will be looking to improve the recent away form and take the chance of the League title down to the final match when we play Linlithgow Rose at New Dundas Park on Saturday 18th April.
In our previous League outing Bonnyrigg Rose showed immense character in coming back from a half-time deficit to defeat a strong Caledonian Braves side.
The away side took the lead midway through the first half with a McClaren effort from close range but a Cammie Ross strike shortly after levelled the match but a Mcneil looping header shortly after gave “The Braves” a half-time lead.
On the 70-minute mark substitute MacKenzie Scott linked up with fellow substitute Billy King to level the match again.
With time running out a cut-back from Max Dowling found Lee Currie who found the top corner with a stunning strike from 18 yards.
Last time out Broxburn Athletic travelled to the League leaders Clydebank where they lost an early goal and three further goals in an 11-minute spell gave the home side a 4-0 victory.
In the reverse fixture at New Dundas Park late goals from Billy King and Neil Martyniuk secured a 2-0 victory for “The Rose”.
Matches between these sides have been close this season and this match will be no different.
