We are down to the final 3 League matches of this season as we entertain Caledonian Braves.

With 4 sides now in with the opportunity of winning the League title every match now is a must win.

Despite a couple of disappointing away results over the past few weeks the record at New Dundas Park has been excellent buoyed by the enthusiasm and encouragement from the “Rosey Posey” support and this will be vital again as we reach the end point of this season.

“The Rose” have this match against Caledonian Braves followed by an away trip to Broxburn Athletic (11/04) and we finish against Linlithgow Rose (18/04) at NDP.

In the previous match at Shielfield Park despite taking the lead twice Berwick Rangers were able to find an equaliser on both occasions to earn a well-deserved draw to frustrate “The Rose”.

Last time out “The Braves” went down to a late injury time goal against Albion Rovers to lose 3-4 at Alliance Park.

In the reverse fixture a Kalum Higginbotham double and a Cammie Ross goal secured a 1-3 victory in Bellshill.

The last few results have been disappointing and leaves us needing a miracle to win this league.

However, we won’t give up just yet and it’s important that we finish the season strongly.

Caley Braves will a tough game.

They are a very good side and up until only a couple of weeks ago were right in the mix themselves.

They have a lot of good players and are always well organised.

Lennon Walker, in my opinion, is one of the most dangerous players in the league and right up there with Cammy in the goal scoring chart.

I’m looking for a reaction from the boys. It’s a home game, the fans have been excellent for us, and we want to give them the best finish to the season as possible.
