Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic F.C. v Heart of Midlothian F.C. B
Lowland League 2025-26
14/03/2026 3:00pm New Dundas Park
Only six League games to go as we return to New Dundas Park as we host Heart of Midlothian B in the Lowland League.
Bonnyrigg Rose will be looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of the heavy defeat at Clydebank in a match that was played in front of a large support for both sides.
Despite taking an early lead through Cammie Ross, the home side scored four times in a 14-minute period to effectively finish the contest before half time.
A further goal early in the second half secured a 5-1 victory for Clydebank and tightened the points gap at the top of the League with both Clydebank and Tranent with games in hand.
Heart of Midlothian B met Gretna 2008 under the Friday night lights at The Vanloq Community Stadium where they played out a 1-1 draw with both goals coming in the second half.
The draw left the Edinburgh side in 15th place in the Division with 6 wins;8 draws and 15 defeats so far this season.

Hearts have announced the B team will be scrapped after the 2025/26 season.
From 2026/27, the club plans to develop young players mainly through loan partnerships with lower-league clubs instead of running a Lowland League B side.
Manager Angus Beith has continued to introduce Academy team players into his squad as the club begins its journey in a different direction next season.
These sides met in the reverse fixture at the start of October when under Storm Amy conditions “The Rose secured the points with a 1-2 victory with goals from Alassan Jones and Cammie Ross.
Manager Jonny Stewart looks forward to this important match.
First, as I said in my interview after the game on Saturday, I just want to apologise again to the fans who travelled through on Saturday.
We let them and ourselves down.
We must learn from Saturday, put it behind us and focus on the remaining 6 games.
Hearts B will be another tricky game.
They will always be fit, energetic, organised and technically good.
They have loaned a few players out and playing some of the younger lads but have had a few decent results and performances recently so as always, we will need to be back to our best to get 3 points.
The players have been excellent for the majority of this season, and a bad result and performance doesn’t make us a bad team.
Let’s get NDP rocking on Saturday and pick the players up after the disappointment of last Saturday.
Cmon the rose
