Berwick Rangers F.C. v Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic F.C.
Lowland League 2025-26
28/03/2026 3:00pm Shielfield Park
It is another away day as we travel down the A1 and across the border to play Berwick Rangers at Shielfield Park.
Berwick Rangers have been improving with 2 wins from the last 4 outings under Manager Kevin Haynes and are now sitting in mid-table in the division.
In their previous outing Berwick travelled to Linlithgow Rose who are challenging for the League title.
A brace from Calum Rae secured the points for the home side despite Berwick Rangers going close to opening the scoring early on when the ball came back from under the crossbar.
Last time out Bonnyrigg Rose travelled to Airdrie to face a strong Celtic B side.
In a competitive match Celtic B took an early lead but “The Rose” quickly equalised through a Lee Currie trademark free- kick.
Mid-way through the first half Bonnyrigg took the lead through Cammie Ross who latched on to a Kalum Higginbotham pass to finish at the second attempt.
The home side equalised 10 minutes from half time when a shot from the edge of box found the corner of the net.
Cammie ross got his second just after the start of the second half again after a Kalum Higginbotham pass inside the penalty box.
Bonnyrigg Rose could not hold on to the lead as a Celtic B corner found the net to level once again.
Despite chances in the closing stages “The Rose” were unable find a winning goal and had to settle for a point.
These sides met earlier in the season at Ferguson Park in an entertaining contest Berwick came out on top with a 3-4 victory with the winning goal coming in the closing moments from the penalty spot.
With only four League matches remaining the title is now between four sides in what is promising to be an exciting end to this League season.
