Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic F.C. v Broxburn Athletic F.C.
Lowland League 2025-26
22/11/2025 3:00pm New Dundas Park
We are back to League business this weekend as we entertain Broxburn Athletic at New Dundas Park.
As we enter the second half of the campaign both sides have been in fine form and have been steadily moving up the table over the past few weeks and this match should be a very competitive affair.
“The Rose” with six wins in a row and Broxburn Athletic five wins in the last six along with Tranent are the form sides in the League and both sides will be looking to maintain the momentum as they chase down both Clydebank and Linlithgow Rose at the top of the table.
In the previous League outing Bonnyrigg Rose put on arguably their best performance of the season so far with a 4-0 victory over Bo`ness United at New Dundas Park.
In a dominant performance from start to finish a Cammie Ross hat- trick and an excellent strike from Kallum Higginbotham gave the large crowd a Saturday to remember.
In their previous League outing at Albyn Park Broxburn defeated League leaders Clydebank 2-1 with goals from O`Kane and Docherty securing the impressive victory.
These sides met in the first round of this season’s Scottish Cup with “The Rose” coming out on top with goals from Neil Martyniuk and Cammie Ross securing a 2-1 victory.
Manager Jonny Stewart’s Match Preview
Another massive game at NDP and one I am really looking forward to between 2 good sides.
With only 1 point separating the sides it should be a cracker.
There wasn’t much in the game when we met in the Scottish cup a few weeks so we know we will need to be at our best to get 3 points.
Last week against Bo’ness was arguably our best performance of the season and I’m sure a lot of fans went home happy.
Hopefully we get another good turnout this weekend and they can roar us on to victory again.
I’d like to congratulate all the academy players who made their debut last week and during the week against Gala.
A credit to the youth system they didn’t look out of place at all and was a great win on Wednesday.
C'mon the rose
