Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic F.C. v Bo'ness United F.C.
Lowland League 2025-26
15/11/2025 3:00pm New Dundas Park
We return to New Dundas Park for the latest Lowland League fixture.
This is the first of three consecutive Saturday fixtures at New Dundas Park.
Both these sides come into this match in excellent form and are currently 5th and 6th in the Division.
“The Rose “have picked up 16 points from a possible 18 in the last six games with Bo`ness United only suffering one defeat in this period.
Last time Bonnyrigg Rose defeated Caledonian Braves 1-3 at Alliance Park with two goals from Kallum Higginbotham and a Cammie Ross tap in.
Bo`ness United defeated Gala Fairydean Rovers 4-0 at Newtown Park scoring three goals in the first twenty minutes with a further goal coming just after midway through the second half.
This is the return League meeting between these sides.
In the previous meeting the sides played out a 1-1 draw at Newtown Park.
“The Rose struck first when Laurie Devine scored early on but shortly before half time the home side equalised through former Bonnyrigg player Kieran Mitchell.
The second half was an even affair with a number of yellow cards being brandished by the referee.
Bonnyrigg Rose thought they had scored the winner in the final minutes of the match, but the Laurie Devine header was controversially deemed to be offside.
The thoughts on this match of Manager Jonny Stewart
The big games keep coming thick and fast and Bo’ness is exactly that.
They are a good side and going well this season so we know we must be at our best to get a result.
The boys are on a good run though and should go into the game confident.
Last week was a great performance and 3 points.
We showed 2 different sides to our game.
First half we were good on the ball and looked a threat.
Second half we defended our box brilliantly.
Saturday will need to be the same.
It’s the first of 3 home games in a row which we are looking forward to.
Hopefully the fans turn out in numbers again and keep giving the boys you’re backing.
C`mon the rose
