Next up we visit Newtown Park to face Bo`ness United in the first of two away Lowland League fixtures in a 3-day period.
“The Rose” come into this match after reaching the second round of the Scottish Cup after a 2-1 victory over Broxburn Athletic with goals from Captain Neil Martyniuk and Cammie Ross and despite going down to 10 men and conceding a late Broxburn goal “The Rose” are in the second-round draw.
Manager Jonny Stewart was delighted with the performance after the disappointing defeat against Berwick Rangers in the previous match and praised the desire and the commitment of his side and will hoping that this victory is a confidence booster for the side as we move into a busy part of the season.
Bo`ness United under Manager Stuart Hunter who go into this match in 7th place in the division and 2 points ahead of Bonnyrigg Rose were defeated 0-3 by Highland League Banks O` Dee at Newtown Park in the Cup and will provide a tough test for “The Rose”.
The home side will also be looking to get their season back on track after a disappointing and winless September so far for them.
These sides last met in the Lowland League in season 21/22 when Bonnyrigg won both home and away in the League on their way to winning the title that season.
