Last time out Bonnyrigg Rose scored five goals at Ochilview as we defeated East Stirlingshire 1-5 at Ochilview with both Cammie Ross and Laurie Devine scoring a double apiece and a stunning Lee Currie free kick.

There is no doubt that the start of the season has been badly hampered by injuries, but we are now starting to see the team moving forward as some of these injuries start to clear.

Celtic B who are managed by former player Stephen McManus played out a 1-1 draw in their previous League match at Gala Fairydean Rovers thanks to a late equaliser at Netherdale.

Celtic B have made a strong start to the season and are currently 4th in the table with “The Rose” now up to 6th after consecutive victories.

Bonnyrigg Rose won both of matches between these sides in season 21/22 and will be looking to maintain this record and make it three wins in a row.

Well, it’s been a good week for the club. 3 wins in 6 days, 6 points in 3 days after 3 good performances.

I think anyone who’s been to our games would agree a result like last Friday has been coming.

Previous weeks we had missed a few chances but against East Stirling they hit the back of net.

Whilst I was disappointed with the goal we conceded, I was delighted with the 5 we scored.

Celtic B will be a very tough challenge.

They were a top side last season and I’m sure this season will be no different.

We must match their energy levels and use our experience.

The boys should take confidence from the last couple of weeks, and we will be going out for 3 points.
