Title chasing East Fife are the next visitors to New Dundas Park in our latest William Hill League 2 fixture.
Both sides will be desperate for the points at different ends of the table as we move towards the end of the season.
Manager Jonny Stewart thoughts on the match -
Welcome back to NDP again for a massive game.
We all know results have not been good enough recently and as a squad of players and staff we are doing everything we can to turn this around.
There’s no denying it’s going to take a massive effort to not finish bottom of the league, but you never know in football, and we will keep going right to the end.
The support from the fans since I came back to the club has been amazing and we are going to need you between now and the end of the season.
The encouragement from the sides makes a massive difference to the team and the boys appreciate it.
Let’s all stick together and keep Bonnyrigg Ross in league 2 ?
Both sides come into this match after disappointing results last week.
“The Rose” went down to a heavy 5-0 defeat to League leaders Peterhead and will be looking to bounce back against 2nd placed East Fife.
East Fife travelled to Station Park but were defeated by an early Forfar goal to leave the Methil side four points behind Peterhead in the promotion race.
In the previous meeting between these sides, it ended all square in Methil.
The match started with both sides working each other out with the Bonnyrigg creating the first chance when a Bradley Barrett shot was well saved by the East Fife goalkeeper McFarlane.
Bonnyrigg lost Captain Kerr Young mid-way through the first half to injury to be replaced by Keiran Somerville.
Cammy Ross gave The Rose the lead on the stroke of half time when he ran through from a through ball from Bradley Barrett to place the ball high into the East Fife goal.
East Fife continued to control possession in the second half, but Bonnyrigg continued to be a threat on the turnover.
Substitute Laaref hit the post for East Fife with less than 10 minutes remaining and it looked like The Rose were about to leave with all 3 points.
With five minutes remaining East Fife were awarded a penalty for a hand ball which was then converted by Trouten.
Calum Connolly went close to putting Bonnyrigg back into the lead when his header came off the post.
Both sides threatened in the final moments of the match but had to settle for a goal apiece.
