We travel to Balmoor Stadium on Tuesday night to face Peterhead, under the lights, in this Cinch League 2 game that was postponed and rescheduled due to The Rose reaching the 5th round of the Scottish Cup.

This is the first of two away trips in 4 days as we make the shorter trip to Ainslie Park on Saturday to face Spartans FC.

In the previous game between the two sides at NDP it finished 1-1 where a Kerr Young header in the first half was cancelled out by a McKee free kick after an hour.

On our last trip to Peterhead, we were defeated by a last minute penalty to lose 2-1 after a very competitive game, with all the goals coming after the 70 minute mark, through Ritchie and a Shanks penalty after The Rose had equalised through a Neil Martyniuk penalty after Josh Grigor had been fouled inside the penalty box.

Peterhead will be looking to at least reach the play off’s after their relegation from League One last season. They currently sit in 2nd place in the league under the joint Management team of Jordon Brown and Ryan Strachan and have added some experience into the squad with the signings of Peter Pawlett and Rory McAllister since the start of the season.

In our last game against East Fife at NDP on Saturday we went down to two first half goals, scored in a 3-minute period, in what otherwise was a very competitive match, with the Rose having chances in the first half and thwarted by a resolute East Fife defence in the second half. At Peterhead we will also be without Reis Peggie as he was sent off after 2 yellow cards in the last minutes of the game.

On Saturday Peterhead travelled to Station Park to face Forfar and came back from 3 down at half time to earn a point with 3 second half goals from McAllister, Duffy and an injury time equaliser from Stewart. They will be buoyed with the comeback against a Rose team looking to take full advantage of the games we have in hand.

Peterhead FC do not operate a cash at turnstile facility, tickets on the day will be card only.

Should the match be segregated, an additional Away ticket booth will also be located at the bottom area of the car park near the away turnstiles.
