We face The Spartans for the 2nd time in 10 days in this Tuesday night clash under the lights at NDP.

This is our game in hand after it was postponed from the original date of 30/12/23 and is the 3rd meeting between the sides this season. Both previous matches were played at Ainslie Park, this week we are at home and our final league game against The Spartans is on 20/04/24.

Both teams come into this match after home defeats on Saturday and will be looking get back to winning ways in a very competitive league, where every point is crucial, as we move towards the latter part of the season.

Both sides will be looking to make this game in hand count to move up the table, with The Rose looking to move up to 6th and The Spartans 2nd in what has become a very congested league table.

This is the second of two consecutive home games for The Rose after the 0-1 defeat against league leaders Stenhousemuir at the weekend, where the team showed no shortage of effort and commitment, and were unlucky to go down to a late goal that came from a corner, in a game that was played in tough conditions.

The Spartans played East Fife last weekend where despite an early goal they went down 1-3 to a rejuvenated East Fife side. In the previous meeting between the sides (24/02/24) The Rose went down to a 2-1 defeat after losing two goals in a three-minute period halfway through the 1st half, and despite a much better 2nd half and a Neil Martyniuk penalty, we were unable to find the equaliser.

Tuesdays' kick off is at 7.45pm, gates will open at 6.45pm. Admission is £14 Adults / £9 Concessions / £5 Youths & U12s go free with a paying adult. Cash and card payment available.

Don’t forget to pick up your match programme, brilliantly produced by Jamie McQueen, available to purchase for £2 at all entrance gates and in the club shop.

Catering
Our refurbished snack bar will be open, as will the snack bar in the away end prior to the game and at half time.

Our club shop will also be open before the game at 6.45pm, open throughout, and close just after full time.
