Back to Cup Action! Scottish Gas, Scottish Cup Fourth Round v Falkirk

We are back at New Dundas Park where the Rose entertain the League One leaders Falkirk in this Scottish Gas Scottish Cup fourth round tie.

In the previous round in November Rose came through a tough encounter at Albion Rovers with victory sealed by a Neil Martyniuk penalty on the stroke of half time.

Falkirk won a home tie against Highland League Formartine United 3-0 to seal their place in this round with three first half goals from Ross, Miller and MacIver.

Bonnyrigg have had an inconsistent spell at present but will welcome the break from league duty and will be hoping to go through to the Fifth round for the first time in the Club’s history.

Falkirk who are well ahead in League One, are unbeaten in a club record 26 games and the only unbeaten team in the Scottish Leagues this season, will be a tough test for the Rosey Posey. Both teams will be focused on putting a good cup run together.

In the previous meetings between the clubs Falkirk won in the League Cup on penalties after a 1-1 draw in July 2022 and were also victorious in a pre-season friendly at the start of this season.

Both teams will be aiming to be in the next round which is played during the weekend of the 10th February and the game will be played until a conclusion as there are no replays in this competition.

We are back in League 2 action next Saturday 27th January at Forfar and return to NDP on 3rd February with Stranraer being the visitors.

Admission
Saturday’s game kicks off at 3pm, gates will open at 2pm. This is a ticket only game. Tickets must have been purchased in advance, there will be no pay at the gate option. Home fans can still purchase tickets from New Dundas Park on Thursday 18th January 6pm - 8pm and Friday 19th January 1pm - 3pm. Cash and cards will be accepted within the ground at our snack bars and club shop.

Match Programme
Don’t forget to pick up your match programme, brilliantly produced by Jamie McQueen, available to purchase for £2 at all entrance gates and in the club shop.

Catering
Our refurbished snack bar will be open, as will the snack bar in the away end prior to the game and at half time.

Club Shop
Our club shop will also be open before the game, open throughout, and close just after full time. Pop in and have a look at the range of Rose merchandise available as well as being able to purchase a brick for our brilliant supporters wall.
