We welcome Clyde FC to NDP for another massive match in Cinch League 2.

With only 8 League games to go this season every game is vital with only eight points separating 7th from 10th at the foot of the table. The Rose are currently in 8th position six points above the visitors.

This is the fourth and final meeting between the sides this season, with The Rose having the edge, winning the first two meetings but going down narrowly in the last match.

The Rose come into this match after the trip to Elgin with a makeshift defence due to injuries and suspension. We went down to a narrow 1-0 defeat in a game that was played in gusty conditions and after a promising first half. The Rose had a few half chances to open the scoring however we lost a goal just after the hour mark and despite pushing forward towards the end of the game, and having a goal disallowed for a tight handball decision, we were unable to find an equaliser.

Clyde come into this match after a 2-1 defeat at in-form Forfar, where after going into half time with a 1-0 lead, two second half goals from the home side have left Clyde six points adrift at the bottom of the table. However they have improved over the past few weeks under Ian McCall with 3 wins in the last 5 league games.

In the previous meeting between the sides (06/01/24) The Rose went down 3-2 after a poor first half performance where we found ourselves down by 3 goals, we were much improved in the second half and despite two late Smart Osadolor goals, The Rose were unable to find the equaliser.

The previous meeting between the sides (21/10/23) at NDP provided us with 5 goals with The Rose coming out 3-2 winners in a game where The Rose came from behind at halftime to secure the victory with two goals from on loan Taylor Sutherland and a goal from Liam Buchanan.

09/03/24 Forfar 2-1 Clyde
02/03/24 Clyde 2-1 Elgin City
24/02/24 Stenhousemuir 1-6 Clyde

12/08/23 Clyde 0-2 Bonnyrigg Rose
