We are back to league action this weekend as we welcome Stranraer to NDP for this Cinch League 2 meeting.

This is the start of a busy period for The Rose with 6 games in 3 weeks which includes a visit to Aberdeen in the 5th round of the Scottish Cup on the 10th of this month.

A warm welcome to our new signings Declan Byrne who has joined us from Dumbarton along with Sam Gormley and Scott Mercer who have joined from Edinburgh City.

Prior to the last meeting between the sides The Rose had had an unbeaten record against Stranraer, but we were on the end of a 3-1 defeat at Stair Park in December, where The Rose initially went behind through a freak own goal after 5 minutes. We then had a few chances to equalise but 2 early second half goals sealed the win for Stranraer despite a late Bradley Barrett goal.

The first meeting in September this season at NDP ended in a 1-1 draw with a Neil Martyniuk penalty being cancelled out by a late equalizer from Deryn Lang for the Blues.

The Rose will be looking to maintain the momentum that has been gained with the last 3 results which included the cup win again Falkirk and credible League draws against both Dumbarton and Forfar in the past few weeks with Stranraer having 1 win in the last 5 League outings which was an excellent home win against Peterhead last month.

As a reminder we also have a rescheduled home game on Tuesday night 06/02/24 at 7.45pm against Elgin City.

Admission
Saturday’s game kicks off at 3pm, gates will open at 2pm. Admission is £14 Adults / £9 Concessions / £5 Youths & U12s go free with a paying adult. Cash and card payment available.

Catering
Our refurbished snack bar will be open, as will the snack bar in the away end prior to the game and at half time.

Club Shop
Our club shop will also be open before the game, open throughout, and close just after full time. Pop in and have a look at the range of Rose merchandise available as well as being able to purchase a brick for our brilliant supporters.
