Bonnyrigg Rose gets ready to play the first game of 2024 against Clyde FC on Saturday in a cinch Scottish league 2 fixture, carrying the momentum of an impressive victory over East Fife into the new year.
Rose have experienced changes in its forwards personnel, with Alieu Faye departing on mutual terms and Taylor Sutherland being recalled from loan at Dunfermline Athletic.
In a previous encounter this season, Bonnyrigg Rose triumphed over Clyde in a thrilling 3-2 victory at NDP, with Taylor Sutherland and Liam Buchanan finding the net. Impressively, Rose has won 3 of the last 4 games against Clyde.
Clyde, on the other hand, enters the match with mixed form, having suffered a defeat to Stenhousemuir last week but also participating in a dramatic 8-goal cup thriller against Dumbarton. Clyde's key performers as of late have been striker Martin Rennie and 19-year-old Logan Dunachie, who have contributed to 9 goals between them for Clyde this season.
