It is a top of the table cinch League two clash at New Dundas Park this weekend as first place Rose host second place Stenhousemuir. The league is already as most people expected an extremely tight affair with first to fourth on eleven points, with sixth place Spartans only two points back.

The Warriors come into this week's fixture off the back of a resounding 5-0 defeat of the previously unbeaten Stranraer last Saturday, condemning Blues manager Scott Agnew to his first loss since taking over at Stair Park towards the end of last season. It was yet another clean sheet for the Warriors' miserly defence, who have conceded goals in only one of their six league fixtures to date when defeated at Ochilview by Dumbarton on match day four. Summer signing Gregor Buchanan is making an impact at both ends of the pitch, adding a double on Saturday taking his total to three league goals whilst marshalling the Warriors defence.

New Dundas Park was a happy hunting ground last season for Stenhousemuir as they won both encounters, with the corresponding fixtures at Ochilview ending in draws. Manager Gary Naysmith is no stranger to NDP, having graced the playing surface himself only two weeks ago as part of a Hearts Legends XI for Jonny Stewart's testimonial.

Rose also have their own goal scoring defender in their ranks as Nail Martyniuk sits as top goal scorer across all four divisions of the SPFL. However his latest strike from the penalty spot wasn't enough to gain anything from the trip to Peterhead last time out, as a late penalty of their own ensured the three points were staying in Balmoor, inflicting the first defeat on Bonnyrigg this season. Rose currently sit top of the goalscoring charts at the moment with twelve and have yet to draw a blank so far this season, with contributions coming from all over the pitch. Robbie Horn's side will be looking to maintain the unbeaten run at home and look to break their duck against the Warriors at NDP on Saturday.
