Not an awful lot can be changed from last weekend's preview, folks. But a scintillating 90 minutes of football at the Boomtown Bernabeu has put Rose at a two-goal advantage ahead of the Pyramid Play-Off second leg at Bellslea Park.
Over 1,500 spectators witnessed a cool 3-1 victory over Highland League champions Fraserburgh as Robbie Horn's men looked in control for large periods of the match.
Keiran McGachie, making his first start since 19th March following injury, opened the scoring late in the first half. The big man towered above all in his vicinity to meet Lee Currie's typically flawless free-kick cross and nodded the ball past opposition 'keeper Paul Leask with relative ease.
Keys, not satisfied with just the goal, turned provider in the second 45. Mark Weir's far-reaching drop kick was knocked down by the goalscorer straight into the path of an advancing Callum Connolly, who made no mistake by unleashing a fierce strike that almost tore through the back of the net.
Paul Young cut the deficit in half when he knocked in a troublesome long throw at the back post, but Rose soon restored their two-goal advantage when Currie redefined the term 'postage stamp.' His inch-perfect free-kick from the edge of the area gave a helpless Leask no chance and sent the roaring Rose support into euphoric celebration.

A tricky away day up north to Fraserburgh now awaits Robbie Horn's men (and a healthy travelling support), with the victorious team over both legs earning a place in the League 2 Play-Off versus Cowdenbeath.
'Mon the Rose!
