We can now confirm the transfer of striker Kyle Wilson from the Rose to Kelty Hearts. The 23 year old Kennoway native was out of contract in the summer and had already held pre contract talks with the New Central Park outfit, so it made sense from our perspective to see if we could strike a deal now before losing him for nothing in the summer, which we did and would like to place on record our thanks to Kelty Hearts who were very easy to deal with, which always helps with matters like these.
Kyle was very good for us and we would like to think that we were good for Kyle. He is now moving to a club much closer to home with one of, if not the best set up in non league football and we wish him all the best at his new club. We would also like to wish his most ardent supporters, his mum and dad Tracie and Billy all the best also.
In all Kyle made 42 appearances for Bonnyrigg, with 9 of those coming from the bench, scoring 34 goals.
The manager has been working hard to look for a replacement and we will be revealing further signing news early next week once contracts are signed.
