As announced by his new club yesterday, Jordan Smith has joined Tranent Juniors. Smith who joined in the close season is reunited with his old Tynecastle boss Calum Eliot at the Belters and we would like to wish him all the very best at his new club. We would also like to acknowledge the people behind the scenes at the Big T in the way the transfer was handled.

We can also announce the signing of Portugese midfielder João Baldé on loan from Livingston. The 19 year old midfielder spent several seasons at the Rangers academy, including a loan spell at fellow LL side Berwick Rangers last season, before his move to the Lions in the summer and we would like to thank Livingston for their help in getting the signing completed in time for today's game at East Stirlingshire.

We expect to be in a position to announce further signings in the coming days.
