There continues to be great progress in our pitch fund efforts and over the last week the total has amount raised has increased to over £48k. We are so grateful to everyone who has helped make this happen by contributing their time and money.

On Friday 17th January we were kindly invited along to hold a bucket collection outside MMCC Bonnyrigg - Madinah Masjid & Community Centre so the local community could ‘Pitch In’ and show their support. An incredible £1285.36 was raised which includes a generous donation from the owner of the Ideal Store Newtongrange. Thank you to everyone who chatted and donated.

Luci's Restaurant & Cocktail Bar has created the Rose Cocktail! The feedback from those who have tried it has been incredible. You can still try it yourself, if you are out and about over the coming weeks, pop in to Lucis, Lasswade and try one knowing while sipping on your cocktail, a blend of Passoa, Vanilla Vodka, Pineapple Juice, Lime & Rose Syrup, all proceeds are being donated to the Pitch fund.

We were also incredibly grateful to local group The East Coast Band for headlining our first fundraising gig on 11th January. An astonishing £5,240.37 raised for the Pitch Fund!
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone that "Pitched In". Thanks again to East Coast for the show, thanks to all the local businesses and fans who very kindly donated prizes, Mamma's for the exceptional buffet and all the helpers who made our first fundraising event such a tremendous success.

A big thank you to the Laird & Dog for Pitching In too. If you are popping in over the next few weeks you can purchase raffle tickets at the bar with a chance of winning some great prizes. All proceeds being donated to our Pitch fund.

Our volunteer fundraising & events team are working hard with local establishments to bring together a calendar of events to support our ‘Pitch In’ fundraising. The first of the new events will be announced next week! Watch this space for the Bonnyrigg Rose Pitch Fund exciting announcements.
