Alieu Faye becomes the club’s fifth arrival of the January transfer window.

Bonnyrigg Rose are delighted to announce the signing of Civil Service Strollers forward Alieu Faye.

The 32-year-old Frenchman has already hit double figures for the North Edinburgh outfit this season following his impressive goal scoring exploits that last season helped Strollers to 7th in the Lowland League table.

Alieu has spent over five years at Christie Gillies Park and, much like fellow winter window signing Zander Murray, has caused Rose trouble on multiple occasions in recent seasons.

The lofty forward, who can play across the entire front line, will now add additional quality to the Rose’s attacking options as the club seeks to push themselves up the cinch League Two table.

Manager Robbie Horn said: "Alieu is a player we have faced a number of times in the past few seasons and has always caused problems. People always look at his height and think that's his main asset but there is a lot more to his game. He's got great feet, links the play well and has the ability to score goals. He's a real character and a good addition to the changing room."

"We would like to place on record our thanks to the Strollers for the way the transfer was dealt with and wish them the very best for the remainder of the season."

Welcome to the Rose, Alieu!
