Job: Part-time First Team Physiotherapist
Location: New Dundas Park, Dundas Street, Bonnyrigg, EH19 3AE
Hours: Saturday Home Fixtures (13:00-18:00)

The Opportunity
Bonnyrigg Rose FC are looking to expand their team with a part-time graduate physiotherapist. The preferred candidate will work alongside the current Head Sports Therapist in match day activity such as providing medical services and support to the first team as needed.

Home games typically take place on Saturday afternoons with the team on site from 2pm, however any rescheduled matches take place on Tuesday evenings with the team on site from 6pm.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assessment and treatment of injuries sustained during match play.
  • Delivery of rehabilitation and strength & conditioning programmes.
  • Assist with the club's injury prevention strategy to boost player availability and decrease time loss through injury.
  • Provide physiotherapy cover during matchdays including emergency on-pitch care/treatment when required.
  • Liaise with coaching staff, head sports therapist and club doctor to provide updates on player status and other relevant injury information.

Qualifications

  • BSc (Hons)/ MSc Physiotherapy (or studying towards)
  • Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration
  • Sports First Aid Certification (Not essential, this can be completed at the club)

Will be expected to have appropriate insurance arrangements in place.

This is a great opportunity for a graduate physio to gain valuable experience within an SPFL League 2 Men's First Team Club.
