Seasons greeting to all of our supporters

In this most turbulent of years, we remember those Rose supporters that have passed away this year and to compound matters due to restrictions in place since March, we often haven't been in a position to attend their services. They are however in our thoughts as we approach the festive period.
We are approaching a busy time of the year with fixtures over the next couple of weeks, and recognise that our supporters would like to do nothing more than attend our Scottish Cup game on Saturday at NDP and our game on New Years Day at the same venue the following week, where under normal circumstances we would expect to see a full house at both, as there wasn't a spare ticket to be had at any of our Scottish Cup home games last season despite increasing capacity for each round. We eagerly await some better news on that front early in the new year where we hope to be in a position to allow some of our followers back into New Dundas Park.
This has been our most difficult season as a club since we took over in 2009 with the numerous barriers that we have had to overcome. We made a pledge several months ago that we would come through this and come through it we have, as we approach our 140th year in existence. This has been achieved with the help of our supporters, sponsors, players, management team and our small dedicated band of volunteers who have all played their part to ensure that we have a club to follow in 2021. We have always been a supporter run club, and we are only in place as temporary custodians to pass the running of the club to those that follow behind us.
We will publish a more detailed review of the year just about to pass and the year ahead next week, so for now we would like to wish all of our supporters a happy and safe Christmas and aspire to be able to say this in person in the not too distant future. Please also continue to look out for those on their own or vulnerable within our community at this time of the year, as they need our support now more than ever.
