We are on the road again as we travel to face the League Champions Stenhousemuir at Ochilview.

The Rose now face a massive last two games to avoid the relegation play-off and come into this match after a 0-1 defeat at NDP against The Spartans.

The Rose were able to field an unchanged side after the win at East Fife. In a very tight end of season nervy match The Rose created a number of good opportunities but were unable to make the breakthrough and were punished with 5 minutes remaining when the league top scorer Blair Henderson scored from 20 yards.

With both Clyde and Stranraer both drawing it leaves The Rose still requiring at least a win in the final two games to secure League 2 football next season.

Stenhousemuir, who were crowned League Champions three weeks ago, come into this match after a trip to New Douglas Park where they drew 2-2 against a Clyde team also battling to stay in the division.

Clyde took an early lead, but Stenhousemuir levelled just before half time and took the lead just after the hour mark, but they conceded an equaliser 5 minutes later.

Stenhousemuir have drawn all five of their previous games.

Stenhousemuir have won all 3 games played between the sides this season 1-0 and have been worthy League Champions this season under Gary Naysmith including a spell at the turn of the year where they won 12 games in a row.

As the previous scores suggest all of the games between the sides this season have been close affairs, in the last match played at a snowy Ochilview last December the hosts took the lead after 25 minutes with a close-range effort but The Rose continued to create chances and were on top after the home side had a player sent off with 15 minutes to go but were unable to get the breakthrough.
