Biography

Mark is in his second spell at Bonnyrigg Rose, having spent two seasons with the club between 2011 and 2013. The ‘keeper won an East Superleague and East of Scotland Cup during that first spell, before heading to the States. He won four conference titles while Stateside – two with Bethel University and two with Wichita. His incredible goal for FC Wichita, scored from his own box, in the conference play-offs versus Shreveport Rafters was voted NSPL Goal of the Year and received widespread attention in both the US and UK.

Upon completion of his Masters Degree, Mark returned home and there was only one club for him. Mark made his 50th Rose appearance in November 2021, keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory over Vale of Leithen. However, his most notable showing came at Dens Park, when his stunning display in our extra time Scottish Cup defeat to Dundee in January 2021 earned him the Man of the Match award in front of the BBC cameras.

Mark joined Stirling Albion on loan in January 2023.

Mark is sponsored by Held In Our Hearts (home and away). Mark's third kit is still available for sponsorship.
