Neil is heading into his seventh season with Bonnyrigg Rose, having joined from neighbours Newtongrange Star in the summer of 2017. The left-sided defender has racked up just shy of 200 appearances in the red and white hoops of Rose during his six-year stay so far.Neily has also grabbed over 30 goals for the club, with plenty of crucial strikes coming in the latter stage of the 2021/22 Lowland League winning season from the penalty spot. A moment of Rose folklore will always be his cool penalty in the SPFL League Two play-off final second leg over Cowdenbeath to secure a 1-0 victory at Central Park and spark scenes of great joy for the travelling Rosey Posey support.
