Having consulted with interested parties including our current senior management team we are exploring the possibility of fielding an under 20s team in the Lowlands Development League next season.

The U20s development league for this season ran as two conferences of 11 teams made up of East of Scotland, South of Scotland and Lowland League sides (Edinburgh City also field a team) Current tables can be found here.

The oldest boys team currently in the community club ends at under 17s so it gives an opportunity to players over that age group to continue their development with the new under 20s team that will form part of the senior team. It allows some of our senior players game time on return to injury/lack of game time etc. The senior team will also be able to field members of the 20s team also so it can only be a good thing for the overall development of the club.
