Thoughts from the manager on the past seven days.

A great result for us last week away at Petershill to reach the quarter finals of the Scottish Junior Cup. It took us 10-15 mins to get in the game and we could have been behind early on but for a couple of very good saves from Michael but once we got the first goal I thought we controlled the game.

It was a great free kick form Adam to get us in front and we had to wait a long time to kill the game off but again it was a very good finish from Archie. I thought we looked solid in the second half and never really looked under any threat and were professional the way we went about things.

I've got to credit Michael for his performance. I thought he was excellent last week not just his saves but his all round game was what we have to come to expect from him. It takes character to come back from where he was after the Hibs game and he has just got his head down, worked hard and re-focused again. There is real competition for the number 1 jersey now with Sean showing how a good a keeper he is in training so far which can only be good for the club.

So it's home to Fauldhouse tomorrow now and I have to credit them and in particular their new manager John Connolly for agreeing to the switch. Both teams want to keep playing for different reasons and I just hope the weather is kind to us between now and kick off. Fauldhouse are scrapping for their lives so we have to be up for the battle and earn the right to play.

Again we have players missing, both Deano and Fraser are out through injury while a couple of others are also carrying knocks. I'm hopeful of adding to the squad soon though.

All the best!

Robbie
