We are delighted to announce the return of David Burrell to Bonnyrigg Rose as he has agreed to take on the position of manager on an interim basis. Davie is someone who knows the club inside out, having spent 13 seasons here as player and assistant manager and has been involved in all four SuperLeague winning sides in some shape or form.
He took his first training session this evening, with most of the current squad having already worked with him at him previously and this was one of the critical factors in asking David to take the role on. He won’t be in the dugout this weekend for our Conference B fixture v Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale however as he was given a one match suspension in his last game at Berwick Rangers.
His coaching staff will be Jonny Stewart, Sean McAuley & Michael Burgess as Ian Little has resigned from his position. We would like to place on record our thanks to Yano for his time with the club and wish him all the best for the future.
