Membership ratified, conferences decided, majority of cup draws made.

Tonight saw the ratification of our membership to the East of Scotland League, along with 26 other new members, at their AGM held at Easter Road this evening. This brings the total number of members participating in the EoS league for next season to 39, comprising of 13 incumbent members, 24 members joining from the East Region Junior FA, 1 joining from the West Region JFA and the creation of a new team, Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts.

Cup draws

We will participate in several cups as a member of the East of Scotland league. East of Scotland Qualifying Cup, League Cup, South Challenge Cup, King Cup, William Hill Scottish Cup - we are not entitled to enter the Alex Jack cup as we are in the Scottish Cup this season by virtue of being current East Region Superleague champions.

The league cup has been split into ten sections and is made up of all 39 EoS teams. We have been drawn in section F alongside Hill of Beath Hawthorn, Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts & Stirling University EoS. Our first fixtures of the new season will be these sectional cup games on Jul 28th, 31st Jul/Aug 1st and Aug 4th. We are due to be away to both Hill of Beath and Stirling Uni EoS and home against Inverkeithing. We should know the order of these fixtures shortly.

The South Challenge Cup is made up of EoS, SoS and LL teams, so 69 clubs participating. We have received a bye in round one and will play Blackburn Utd away in round 2 on Sept 15th.

The King Cup is comprised of 38 teams (Leith Athletic barred for infringement) from the EoS. Again we have received a bye in round one and will play the winners of Edinburgh Utd or Dalkeith Thistle at New Dundas Park on March 2nd.

The East of Scotland Qualifying cup which is made up of 66 teams from the LL & EoS was made today. We received a bye in round one and face the winner of Oakley Utd and Vale of Leithen in round two at New Dundas Park.

Once we have further fixtures we will update the website with these.
